In the year 622, the Prophet Muhammad and his followers moved from Mecca to Medina. This event is named after the Hijrah. Since the event began the Islamic calendar or Hijri calendar.
Inhabitants of Mecca and Medina fought with the Prophet Muhammad. with good results although there are among the Muslims who were killed.
